Hi everyone (and by everyone i mean the 2 maybe 3 people that will actually read this)Today was thanksgiving, a day we celebrate a time before we raped the native American's and stole there land. A day when we stuff our faces, spend time with family. Well, my thanksgiving planes were crazy this year. Amanda went to Ohio to be with her family, but the company i work for went bottom up 2 months ago, and i couldn't afford to join her, but im very glad she got to go see her family. So i had plans to spend it with some friends, but at the last minute, was unable to, so for 2 days i was very depressed about sitting at home on t-day, doing nothing, and eating hot pockets. Then today, at about 10:00 AM i was parusing thru craigslist in the free section, and stumple upon a post for a free thanksgiving dinner. Not a cry to the homeless, not a soup kitchen, just honest to goodness folk who rent out a church for the last 9 years, and serve t-day for 4 hours. And i gotta say, it was pretty good, had a guy playin guitar, real food, turkey, Stuffing, cranberries, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, rolls, pie. And seriously, it was good food, and wasnt bad, so im not depressed anymore.
